  • The Portman Training Center conducted training for the National Safety Council at various customers around the county and in our 16,000 square foot training center in Cincinnati.

  • Close association with local OSHA District Office since 1980
  • Promoted and worked with Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift of America to develop and establish “regional training centers” in the USA
  • Assisted Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift of America in the development of their operator safety training programs
  • The Portman Training Center Became the first Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift of America Regional Training Center in 1993
  • Developed a Pedestrian safety training program for pedestrians working around powered industrial trucks
